OK, just for the Palin family: a password ought to be at least six characters in length, not based on a real word, contain lowercase letters, uppercase letters, numbers and symbols if they're accepted by the application. So instead of, say, "trigsmom" it should be (example) "ej4#Hn!kW". That's how you keep people out of your stuff.

Update: So it looks like the culprit is an Obama volunteer and son of a Tennessee Democrat state legislator. His name is David Kernell. I really hope Obama himself calls for Kernell to be prosecuted - because if he doesn't then it will probably be open season on all politicians' online lives.
