Who cares? What’s the difference between a pit bull and a pig? Lipstick is lipstick. If the “barracuda” can not stand up to judgement of lipstick shades, how will she deal with the hard liners of the world? I like her. Time to put her in front of the people, take the gloves off and let her show what she knows to the American People. I am tired of the liberal left whining that she is being sequestered. Let her loose to show what she can do. She will deliver the goods.

There’s a difference between deprecating oneself in a joke and deprecating someone else. Also, calling someone a “pit bull” means he or she is tenacious and aggressive, so it can be construed as a compliment.
While the term “pig” has numerous connotations, they’re all negative. Sometimes it’s used to indicate a woman who lacks sexual restraint, which ties in to lefty attacks on Palin having so many kids. So that’s why it’s a big deal.
