Gawker Scolder?
My friends, it's a sad day indeed when even Gawker chastises Palin-haters for their lack of class. (It'd be like one of those kids with the stretcher discs in his earlobes telling a bar-dancing drunk girl to stop making a spectacle of herself.) Regarding the frenzied abuse of Governor Sarah Palin by mainstream media types, Gawker writer Sheila McClear observes that "the precious blue-state liberals reveal themselves to be the small-minded yokels suspicious of anything and everyone that's different." Even more remarkable is that the commenters are generally receptive to her post. (I double-checked the URL to make sure I wasn't being lured in by some bizarre fake-Gawker phishing scheme.)
And hey, look, I just came up with a boffo new feature for Gawker Media: Gawker Scolder, where snarking gives way to barking, mastication to castigation. You know what they say about people who live in sass houses...
