The Case for Sarah Palin

Browsing Posts in Sarah Palin

Is John McCain the only Republican in America who hasn't read Corsi's The Obama Nation? Our Sarah is fighting tooth and nail but McCain is actually defending Obama in some appearances. On Fox, I saw a woman get up and suggest that Obama is "an Arab", and McCain took the microphone away from her in disgust. I expect what she meant is that Obama is a Muslim, and while I'm sure Obama is not currently a Muslim, despite his assurances to the contrary he clearly was raised Muslim.

This goes to the point that Obama has lied about or concealed much of his background, and instead of snatching microphones away from people pointing out that the man is a cypher, McCain ought to be explaining the real gaps in that background. Like Jack Kemp in 1996, McCain may not want to get his hands dirty, but the alternative is a far-left socialist being elected president. It's bigger than McCain and as the GOP nominee he has an obligation to take off the gloves and hit hard.

Thank God for Governor Palin, who is fearless when it comes to smacking Obama around.

No, it isn't the kind of bow you tie up in your hair.

There's a very good article at the Daily Interlake about how Sarah Palin's interview responses were selectively edited by Charlie Gibson and Katie Couric for the purpose of making her look foolish.

Andrew Sullivan posted this to discredit Governor Palin, but I don't see it having that effect at all. Not for the squeamish, here's an oldie but goodie that might discredit Andew Sullivan.

What is it about Governor Palin that causes lefties to completely discredit themselves trying to inflict minor damage on her reputation? I'll never be able to look at Katie Couric again without thinking about how she conspired to remove the title of "Governor" from all references to Sarah Palin.

She's in the tank for Obama to such an extent that she's even doing tiny, childish digs against his opponent's VP candidate? Sad.

Update: Oh, it turns out she double-beclowned herself by allowing David Letterman to use make-up footage of McCain.

I guess I'm boycotting CBS. I'm already avoiding NBC and MSNBC, so that leaves just ABC among the old "Big 3", and I'm not thrilled with them, either.

This article in the Wall Street Journal is hilarious.

If the choice was between Sandra Bernhard and Sarah Palin, I know which one just about everybody would vote for.

It's a funny thing: I actually held a door for Sandra Bernhard when she was pushing a baby stroller along Bleecker St. in New York one day about six or seven years ago. You see a mother doing something as innocent as pushing a stroller and it seems inconceivable that she could have so much rage inside her.

It strikes me as odd, however, that she gets to throw around words like "shiksa" and "goyische" - not to mention "whore" and "bitch" - and no one in the media expresses any negative judgment.

This is pretty funny, and all in good fun.
